Bedford Researcher - Chp. 18
Chapter eighteen focuses on the presenting aspect of the project after its completion. There are many ways to present your work, including oral, multimedia, poster, and portfolio presentations, and this chapter gives advice on how to choose which type to use and what to do when you've chosen. When deciding which type of presentation to give, it is important to consider your argument, your genre, and your audience. In making an oral presentation, you must consider the best way to verbally get across your idea, the language you must use, and create notes to do this effectively. When giving a poster or multimedia presentation or portfolio, you must consider your purpose and match visual design with the style of your project. Remember to make your presentation clear and understandable; the audience's expectations of design should also determine the steps you take to complete your presentation.
