Bedford Researcher - Chp. 2

As we are focusing on how to narrow our focus and explore different options for our research projects, this chapter highlights many steps we can take and strategies we can use to make things easier on ourselves. When exploring our topics, it is important to make a plan for our research, including looking for the sources that will be available to us ahead of time and conducting preliminary observations. Chapter two also helps us understand how we can focus on a specific issue within the topic we are studying. Recognizing different central concepts as options, assessing our own personal interest and experience, and framing our arguments within the guidelines are essential as we begin our projects.
