Bedford Researcher - Chp. 6

When we begin to use the resources we are presently collecting, it will be really important not only to take notes, but to take notes well. Chapter six gave helpful information and advice on just how to do that! It will be important to take notes in a systematic and consistent way. Notes should be taken on ideas that are relevant to our topics, statements that enhance our understanding, insight from the experts, and on others' firsthand experience. Taking notes can include quoting, summarizing, or paraphrasing, and it important to understand just how to do that in order to avoid plagiarism. Finally, it will be extremely helpful for our end paper to add personal comment and ideas when taking notes.
